By clicking “I Authorize” or linking your accounts, you provide your express, informed consent for Cercu Inc. to perform the following high-impact data actions.

1. Authorization to Retrieve Bank, Asset & Transaction Data

You authorize Cercu to connect to your financial accounts via our authorized Open Banking partners.

  • Scope:Access includes transaction-level history, recurring subscription patterns (e.g., streaming, gym, insurance), average daily balances, and asset verification (including digital/Web3 assets where linked).
  • Purpose:To perform cash-flow underwriting and verify income stability beyond traditional paystubs.
  • Duration:Access remains active until you disconnect your account within the Cercu app or via your bank’s portal.
2. Expanded Alternative Data (AFD) Collection

You authorize Cercu to collect and normalize a broad range of non-traditional financial signals, including but not limited to:

  • Telecom & Connectivity:Payment history for mobile, internet, and data services.
  • Platform Data:Income and activity history from gig-economy platforms (e.g., Uber, Shopify, Upwork) and “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) repayment records.
  • Social & Community Capital:Contribution and reliability metrics from Community Savings Groups (ROSCAs) and peer-to-peer savings behavior.
  • Professional Stability:Verification of professional licenses, educational credentials, and employment tenure.
3. International Credit & Reputation Portability

You appoint Cercu Inc. as your authorized agent to request and retrieve your consumer credit reports and “reputation data” from credit bureaus and financial data aggregators in your Home Country. You authorize the normalization of this data into a standardized Trust Passport™.

4. Consent for Culture AI™ Analysis

You consent to our AI processing the structured and unstructured data described above. 

  • Logic: The AI identifies patterns of “Financial Discipline” (e.g., consistent savings habits, low overdraft frequency, and subscription reliability).
  • Transparency: You have the right to request a summary of the factors influencing your Trust Score. Any decision materially affecting your access to Cercu services involves human oversight.
5. Consent to Furnish Data (Credit Building)

CRITICAL AUTHORIZATION: You authorize Cercu to act as a Data Furnisher. You agree that Cercu will report your verified Cercu payment history and ROSCA participation to Tier-1 Credit Bureaus (e.g., Equifax, TransUnion, Experian).

  • Impact:You acknowledge that this reporting is intended to build your local credit file, but that late payments or defaults will be reported and may negatively impact your score.
